Jiale Food has added a new product to its range: Frozen Perilla Peach (紫苏桃子, zǐsū táozi). It combines juicy peaches with peach juice, perilla (shiso) leaves and seasoning, and is quick-frozen after bagging.

What it is made of

• Juicy peaches: shuǐmìtáo (水蜜桃)
• Peach juice
• Perilla (shiso) leaves
• Seasoning

How it is made

1. Raw material: peaches, peach juice, perilla leaves and seasoning are prepared
2. Sorting: the raw materials are sorted
3. Blending: peaches, peach juice, perilla leaves and seasoning are blended together
4. Bagging: the blended product is packed into bags
5. Quick-freezing: the bags are quick-frozen

• Appearance: pink peach slices and dark perilla leaves in red peach juice make an attractive product
• Flavour: juicy peach paired with the aroma of perilla leaves
