12,000 m², 100+ People, 20+ Countries: Inside Jiale Food’s Processing Plant

When an importer evaluates a new supplier, the first questions are simple: who are you, where do you produce, and what systems stand behind the product? This page gives a short, factual overview of our plant in Laiyang, Shandong.

The site

Laiyang City Jiale Food Co., Ltd. was founded in 2009. Our 12,000 m² site includes 3,300 m² of fully enclosed processing workshops and a 2,000-ton low-temperature warehouse, so finished frozen goods go straight from the line into on-site cold storage.

Inside the workshops you will find hand-sorting tables, washing and conveying lines, jacketed cooking kettles, stainless steel processing tanks and an X-ray inspection system on the line.

The people

More than 100 employees work at the plant, including 16 quality-management staff and 7 technical staff. The quality team runs incoming inspection, in-process checks and batch records under our HACCP and FSSC 22000 food safety system.

What we make

• IQF frozen vegetables: chopped spinach, sweet potato chunks and pumpkin chunks
• IQF frozen fruits: strawberries
• Frozen fruit juice (NFC): apple, pear and mixed fruit juice
• Frozen fruit pulp, frozen fruit purée and frozen vegetable purée
• Frozen seasoned vegetables (ready-to-cook): spinach, pumpkin, green beans, green peas, zucchini and bitter melon

Where our products go

We export to more than 20 countries in Southeast Asia, Europe and North America, and we supply ready-to-cook frozen green beans to Japan. We work with importers, distributors, food processors and private-label customers.
